On June 25, a light aircraft crashed in the Bemovo district of Warsaw.
elchi reports that the “VITRINA” portal has provided information regarding this incident.
As a result of the incident, two people on board the aircraft died. One bystander nearby sustained injuries.
The plane crashed on “Powstańców Śląskich, 127A” street – effectively on the territory of the Bemovo airport, near the pilot training center.
According to preliminary information, the pilot of the light aircraft attempted to land at the local airport but failed to reach the runway. A fire broke out upon impact, and the wreckage of the plane caught fire.
Four fire brigades were immediately dispatched to the scene and began rescue and firefighting operations.
