Czech Republic has provided 10 training aircraft to Ukraine for pilot training

The Czech government, together with activists from the country’s “Dárek pro Putina” (A Gift for Putin) initiative, has handed over 10 “ALTO NG” training aircraft to Ukraine.

elchi reports, citing “Evropeyskaya pravda”, that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced this information.

It is noted that 5 of the aircraft were provided by the Czech government within the framework of the Air Force Capability Coalition, while the other 5 were funded by the Czech charity foundation “Dárek pro Putina”.

As explained by the Ministry of Defense, the arrival of these light-engine aircraft will allow for the creation of a full-fledged training base in Ukraine, sharply reduce the cost of flight hours compared to combat aviation, and accelerate the transition of Ukrainian pilots to complex Western equipment in accordance with NATO standards.

“Organizing this process within the country significantly reduces dependence on foreign training programs, saves state resources, and ensures the autonomy of training new personnel for the Air Force,” the ministry added.
