Denmark to provide Ukraine with 15,000 long-range artillery shells

After reviewing the military aid format in accordance with the current needs of the front, Denmark will provide Ukraine with an additional 15,000 long-range artillery shells.

elchi reports that this was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, on his Telegram channel.

He stated that the Ukrainian side proposed that Denmark reconsider part of the previously planned aid and exchange short-range artillery for long-range systems. According to M. Fedorov, Denmark responded promptly to this request, and a portion of the mentioned ammunition has already arrived in Ukraine.

“Our team continues to work on increasing the effectiveness of international aid to Ukraine. Together with our partners, we are directing resources toward solutions that yield the greatest results on the battlefield. We have three unchanging priorities: air defense, long-range artillery, and Ukrainian drones,” he wrote.

According to him, in conditions where attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles are consistently expanding, such strike assets allow for more effective destruction of the enemy’s logistics, command posts, and other critical targets, while simultaneously reducing risks for Ukrainian soldiers.
