Erdogan and Pezeshkian discussed the US-Iran agreement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, and the parties discussed the US-Iran agreement.

“Elchi” reports that this information was shared on the “X” social media account of the Turkish Presidential Administration’s Directorate of Communications.

During the phone call, Turkish-Iranian bilateral relations, as well as issues on the regional and global agenda, were discussed.

Erdogan stated that he views the agreement reached between Iran and the US positively. He noted that Turkey is ready to provide all possible support for the process to result in peace.

The Turkish leader emphasized the importance of being vigilant against forces attempting to disrupt the negotiation process.

Erdogan noted that it is necessary to take steps toward strengthening regional peace and stability in the new era and stated that Ankara will continue its efforts to achieve this goal.

During the phone conversation, it was also noted that efforts to develop cooperation between Turkey and Iran in the fields of trade, finance, and energy will continue.
