In January-April 2026, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in the country increased by 6.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2025, reaching 1172.1 manats.

It was noted that the salary in the oil and gas sector was 4534.6 manats, and in the non-oil and gas sector, it was 1111.5 manats. The salaries of employees working in state enterprises were 1152.5 manats, while in private enterprises, they were 1191.3 manats.
In the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, public administration and defense; social security, as well as transportation and storage sectors, the average monthly nominal salary was higher than the national average.
