An awareness-raising event on technical safety was held by the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for representatives of enterprises included in the “Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON)” public legal entity.
“Elchi” reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations, that the purpose of the event was to strengthen awareness regarding compliance with technical safety requirements in state enterprises under AZCON’s management, ensuring the safe operation of potentially hazardous facilities, timely identification of risks in production processes, and prevention of possible accidents.
Responsible representatives of state enterprises under AZCON’s management and other organizations participated in the event.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the requirements of normative-legal acts in the field of technical safety, state registration of potentially hazardous facilities, procedures for operating permits, technical inspections and expertise, as well as matters related to the preparedness of responsible persons and staff. It was noted that the safe operation of lifting equipment, elevators and escalators, pressure equipment, gas facilities, and other potentially hazardous objects in accordance with legislative requirements is of particular importance. Furthermore, the significance of preventive measures aimed at avoiding accidents and incidents was emphasized.
At the event, where a detailed exchange of views on relevant topics took place, questions of interest to the participants were answered.
