The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off today.
elchi reports that the opening match of the tournament, co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico, will be held in Mexico.
In the first match of the tournament, host nation Mexico will face the Republic of South Africa in Group A.
The match, which will take place at the “Azteca” stadium, will start at 23:00 Baku time.
For the first time in history, the 2026 World Cup will be held with the participation of 48 teams.
