Netanyahu convenes security cabinet following mutual attacks between Israel and Iran

It has been reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene the security cabinet following the mutual attacks between Israel and Iran.
elchi reports that Israel’s Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper stated the security cabinet will meet at 11:00 AM.
The report noted that the Israeli army is prepared for the continuation of the conflict and that Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz consulted with army officials overnight.
It was also claimed that the decision to retaliate against Iran’s missile attacks was made during these consultations.
The report stated that a “strong” response would be given to attacks from Iran and that if any attack against Israel occurs from Lebanon, the Dahiye district of the capital Beirut would be targeted.
Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on the Dahiye district of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and Iranian officials reacted by announcing they would respond to this Israeli attack.
After missiles were fired from Iran in three waves overnight, sirens were heard in several cities in northern Israel; it was reported that approximately 10 missiles were fired from Iran at Israel. The Israeli army stated it targeted western and central Iran, and Tehran responded to this attack with a missile strike.
