According to the Code, throwing household waste in places other than containers is punishable by a fine of 300 manats for individuals, 1000 manats for officials, and 4000 manats for legal entities.
In addition, if the same act is committed repeatedly within one year, the penalties become even stricter. Thus, individuals are fined 1000 manats, and officials are fined between 1500 and 2000 manats.
According to the legislation, depending on the circumstances of the case and the identity of the offender, public works ranging from 60 to 100 hours may also be applied to officials.
Legal entities that commit repeated violations are fined between 5000 and 7000 manats.
