The head of the State Security Service (SSS) of Georgia, Geka Geladze, has arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit accompanied by a delegation.

It was stated that within the framework of the visit, Geka Geladze met with the head of the Azerbaijani SSS, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, recent developments in the South Caucasus region, and modern challenges directed at international security.
The importance of deepening close cooperation and partnership between the security agencies of both countries in the process of preventing growing global threats was emphasized.
During the conversation, the annual security forum planned to be held in Baku in September 2026, which plays an important role in strengthening regional and international cooperation, was also touched upon.
At the end of the meeting, G. Geladze thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart for the sincere hospitality and invited him to Georgia.
