Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and Chairman of the “United Russia” party, Dmitry Medvedev, stated that if a catastrophic accident occurs at a nuclear power plant as a result of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, symmetrical strikes could be launched against Ukrainian nuclear power plants or NATO countries.
Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the Rosatom company, had previously stated that on Saturday, a Ukrainian combat drone struck and exploded near the turbine hall of the 6th unit of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
