Iran announces controlled borders in the Strait of Hormuz

The “Persian Gulf Waterway Authority,” established by Iran to regulate passage in the Strait of Hormuz, has announced the borders it controls in the strait.
elchi reports that the “Persian Gulf Waterway Authority” published the control borders for the Strait of Hormuz on the official account of the US-based X company’s social media platform.
Accordingly, the control area is defined as the territory between the Mubarak Mountain region in Iran and the Southern Fujairah line of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the east of the Strait of Hormuz, and the line between Qeshm Island in Iran and Umm al-Quwain in the UAE in the west. The Naval Command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also showed the same borders in the map they published on May 4 regarding the areas they control in the Strait of Hormuz.
