One of the schools in England has been closed due to the rapidly spreading Norovirus.
elchi reports, citing foreign media, that after the symptoms of the virus increased rapidly, the school administration evacuated the building and began extensive disinfection work to prevent the spread of the virus.
Although it is more common in winter, it can also appear in summer, so Norovirus has recently affected not only schools but also the travel industry. At the same time, after 50 people were infected with the virus on a cruise ship, 1,700 passengers and crew were quarantined, and authorities warned that the virus could live on surfaces for days or even weeks.
It should be noted that Norovirus is a contagious virus that causes gastrointestinal infection. Its main symptoms are vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and abdominal pain. It is usually spread through contaminated food, water, or contact.
