On May 16, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Samir Sharifov, met with Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogaili, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing of Saudi Arabia, who arrived in Baku to lead the delegation participating in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Cabinet of Ministers.
It was stated that during the meeting, satisfaction was expressed regarding the holding of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum in Baku and the participation of Saudi Arabia in the forum.
It was noted that the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries is satisfactory.
An exchange of views took place on issues related to modern urban planning and the prospects for economic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
