A yellow and orange warning has been issued regarding the windy weather conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on May 15-16, and in some regions from May 15-18.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Ganja, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Goygol, Samukh, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Shaki, Oghuz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goychay, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Neftchala, Salyan, Lerik, Yardimli, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, and Zangilan, a north-west wind will blow in accordance with the yellow warning, with wind speeds reaching 13.9–20.7 m/s.
In Barda, Tartar, Naftalan, and Goranboy, a north-west wind will blow in accordance with the orange warning, with wind speeds increasing to 20.8-28.4 m/s.
