Azerbaijan’s new ambassador to Bulgaria presented his credentials

Azerbaijan’s new ambassador to Bulgaria, Elmar Mammadov, has presented his credentials to the country’s Vice President Iliana Iotova.

“Elchi” reports that the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria released information regarding this.

During the ceremony, Elmar Mammadov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to the Bulgarian side.

The ambassador expressed his honor in beginning his diplomatic mission in Bulgaria and emphasized that he would spare no effort in further strengthening the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.

In the meeting held after the presentation of credentials, Iliana Iotova expressed her satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral cooperation between the countries.

During the meeting, the importance of the strategic partnership established between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in 2015 was reaffirmed, and the necessity of further expanding relations in various areas of mutual interest was noted.
