The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, has been hospitalized on the island of Bonaire due to a severe allergic reaction.
“Elchi” reports that the Prime Minister wrote about this on the “X” social network.
“I had to spend a few hours in the hospital due to a severe allergic reaction,” he wrote. According to Jetten, after receiving medical assistance, he was able to continue his business trip to Bonaire with a “slightly modified program.”
The “NU.nl” portal clarified that Jetten was bitten by an unknown animal while swimming, which triggered the allergic reaction. Due to the Prime Minister’s hospitalization, several events were canceled, including his talks with representatives of Bonaire’s agricultural authority and his flight to the island of Aruba.
