Neftchi has faced a transfer ban from FIFA.
FIFA’s official portal has placed the “black-and-whites” on the red list and imposed a transfer ban on the club.
According to information obtained by “Apasport”, the reason for this was the transfer of Alessio Curci that took place at the beginning of the season.
Specifically, during Curci’s transfer, an agreement was reached with the opposing party for payment in installments. Due to delays in the installment payments, the Belgian club “Francs Borains”, from which the player was transferred, informed FIFA about this.
Neftchi has already resolved this issue, and the submitted document has been confirmed by the Belgian representative and FIFA.
It has been stated that the transfer ban will be lifted within today or, at the latest, tomorrow.
It should be noted that clubs on FIFA’s transfer ban list cannot register new players if they do not fulfill their debts or obligations. Since the problem is expected to be resolved in a short time at Neftchi, it is reported that it will not have a serious impact on summer transfer plans.
