According to the news from elchi, this is reflected in the new Article 523-1 added to the Code of Administrative Offenses, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Code, engaging in begging will result in a warning or a fine of one hundred to two hundred manats, or, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the personality of the offender, if these measures are deemed insufficient, administrative detention for up to ten days will be applied.
Involving a minor in begging will result in a fine of two hundred to five hundred manats, or, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the personality of the offender, if these measures are deemed insufficient, administrative detention for up to fifteen days will be applied.
