Organized by the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mine Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a seminar-consultation on the topic “Technical safety is our priority” was held in Yevlakh city.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry, the seminar-consultation was organized for the purpose of analyzing the provision of technical safety in various industrial enterprises engaged in the operation of potentially hazardous facilities and taking preventive measures.
The event was attended by Ruhan Nasibov, Deputy Head of the Aran Regional Center of the MES, Lieutenant Colonel; Natiq Seyidahmadov, Head of Inspection of the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mine Control; representatives of local executive authorities in the area covered by the Regional Center, as well as businessmen operating in various fields of industry.
Speaking at the event, Natiq Seyidahmadov, Head of Inspection of the Agency, highlighted the importance of ensuring technical safety in enterprises, as well as the necessity of taking preventive measures in this field.
Later, Vugar Khalilov, Head of the Department of the Azerbaijan State Scientific-Research Institute for Labor Protection and Safety Engineering of the Agency, provided detailed information to the event participants about the systematic investigation of safety in industry and the main directions in ensuring technical safety, as well as the rules, instructions, and technical-normative documents used in regulating technical safety in industrial sectors.
Other speakers at the event discussed the current situation regarding technical safety in industry and mining operations and voiced proposals for further improving the measures necessary to be implemented in the direction of timely prevention of possible accidents.
In the end, a broad discussion was held around the topic, and questions were answered.
