US President Donald Trump has once again harshly criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz following his statements regarding the negative consequences of the situation in the Middle East for the global economy.
“Elchi” reports that in a statement on “Truth Social,” Trump called on Merz not to interfere in US affairs in the Middle East.
“The German Chancellor should spend more time stopping the Russia-Ukraine war—where he has been completely useless—and on the reconstruction of the devastated country, as well as on migration and energy issues. He should interfere less in matters that eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat and thereby make the world, including Germany, a safer place,” Trump wrote.
It should be noted that the Chancellor has repeatedly criticized the US and Israeli operations against Iran, stating that the conflict has negative consequences for the global economy, including Germany itself. Trump, in turn, has accused Merz of interfering in US affairs and supporting Iran’s nuclear program.
