A drill was held at the Shusha Hotel-Congress Center Complex located in the city of Shusha, organized by the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
This was reported to elchi by the press service of the MES.
It was stated that the drill, held on the topic of “Fire safety in hotels” and involving the relevant personnel and equipment of the MES State Fire Control Service, State Fire Protection Service, and the Karabakh Regional Center, aimed to instill behavioral rules regarding emergencies, including fires, in the complex’s staff.
Within the framework of the theoretical part of the two-part drill, MES employees provided detailed information to the center’s staff on necessary measures to ensure fire safety, behavioral rules during fires that may occur in hotels, and evacuation procedures, and video clips on the subject were shown.
“Then the practical part of the drill began. After the “Alarm” signal was given during a simulated fire, the MES fire and rescue forces arrived at the scene operatively and began “firefighting” measures. Also, in accordance with the evacuation plan in the hotel where the simulated fire occurred, the evacuation of “victims” to a safe place was carried out, and the “fire” was extinguished in a short time. The drill ended successfully, and the set goals were achieved,” the report noted.
