Operations are being continued by the employees of the Main Department for Combating Narcotics of the MIA in order to prevent the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs. During the operations of the MDCN, more than 49 kilograms of narcotic drugs were seized.
“Elchi” reports, citing the MIA, that during the subsequent measures, 34 kilograms and 875 grams of marijuana with harmful substances added were seized from 35-year-old Allahshukur Ismayilzade, and 14 kilograms and 700 grams were seized from 29-year-old Jeyhun Sultanov, who had been previously convicted. It was determined that the detained persons acquired the narcotics for the purpose of sale.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding the facts, and a preventive measure of arrest has been chosen against the detained persons by the court’s decision.
