He added that Iran is “suffering from a cash shortage” and losing $500 million a day due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, claiming that “soldiers and police in Iran are complaining about not receiving their salaries.”
In another post, Trump claimed that Iran wants the Strait of Hormuz closed to “save face” due to the US blockade.
Trump also stated that if they open the Strait of Hormuz, “no deal can be reached with Iran.”
