Professor Malinen called Finland’s alliance with the USA “obvious stupidity.”
elchi reports that Finland made a strategic mistake by choosing to partner with the USA. Tuomas Malinen, a professor at the University of Helsinki, wrote about this on his social media page.
“We are just stupid, having decided to join the loser for the second time in a row. Honestly, we really had no other choice in 1941, but now, when there is no need for it, we made the choice… How stupid we are!” Malinen wrote.
This was the expert’s comment regarding reports of the suspension of American arms supplies to Finland due to shortages amid the war in the Middle East.
Previously, Tuomas Malinen noted that the armed conflict in Iran showed that NATO has no chance in a war against Russia or China. He believes that a war between Russia and an ally is a “foregone conclusion.” The professor emphasized that in the conflict, Russia would first destroy key bases in Europe with “Oreshnik” missiles, and then one of the “Yasen”-class submarines would “surface off the US coast,” which would put NATO in a “checkmate” position.
