Zelenskyy discussed unblocking the EU’s 90 billion euro aid package with Costa

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the unblocking of the EU’s 90 billion euro financial aid package during a phone call with European Council President Antonio Costa.

“I discussed the unblocking of the 90 billion euro financial aid package with European Council President Antonio Costa. Ukraine has fulfilled what the EU requested of us,” he wrote.

He also noted that Costa drew attention to Ukraine’s security agreements with countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region. Zelenskyy emphasized that the Ukrainian system for saving lives in the “Drone Deal” format is unique and has already begun to be implemented within the framework of cooperation with individual European states.

The parties emphasized the importance of European unity and security and agreed to continue discussing these issues in a personal meeting in the near future.

For his part, Antonio Costa thanked Zelenskyy on the “X” social network for fulfilling the agreements, including the restoration of the “Druzhba” oil pipeline’s operation.

Earlier, Zelenskyy announced that repair work on a section of the “Druzhba” oil pipeline had been completed.
