US President Donald Trump has stated that he does not intend to extend the ceasefire regime with Iran.
“Elchi” reports that Trump said this in an interview with CNBC.
When asked during a live broadcast whether he would be willing to extend the ceasefire if productive bilateral negotiations were held between Washington and Tehran, Trump replied: “No, I don’t want to do that.”
The American leader also noted that the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened until a final agreement is reached with Iran.
