The State Examination Center (SEC) will hold the first stage of the professional accountant certificate exam (on accounting) on April 19, 2026.
“Elchi” reports that the exam will be conducted via computers at the SEC’s electronic examination building in Baku.
The exam starts at 11:00. Candidates arriving after 10:45 will not be admitted to the exam building. It is prohibited to bring or use mobile phones, smartwatches and other communication devices, calculators and other electronic devices, notes, dictionaries, tables, erasers, bags, information booklets, external storage devices, and other auxiliary tools in the exam building.
The duration of the exam is 3 hours, and candidates are presented with 40 test items. Of the closed-ended test items, 20 are evaluated at 1 point, 10 at 2 points, and of the open-ended test items, 8 are evaluated at 5 points, and 2 at 10 points.

On the day of the exam, candidates must arrive in front of the building where they will take the exam at the time indicated on the admission slip (information about the exam building, date, and time is shown on the exam admission slip) and must bring the following documents with them:
– original identity document (ID card or general civil passport);
– exam admission slip.
Registration for the exam was carried out through the SEC website, and 606 (KOSS – 71, MHBS – 394, İSMUBS – 141) people applied to participate in the exam.
1 general exam supervisor, 6 hall administrators, 39 invigilators, and 8 admission regime employees (security) have been involved in conducting the exam.
