A “Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States through the Institute for Mexicans Abroad” has been signed.
According to the information provided to elchi by the State Committee, the document was signed within the framework of the business visit of the Committee Chairman Fuad Muradov to Mexico, during a meeting with Tatiana Clouthier, head of the Institute for Mexicans Abroad at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The signed document provides for strengthening support for the activities of Azerbaijani and Mexican communities living abroad, protecting their rights and interests, as well as creating cooperation mechanisms in various fields. Within the framework of the memorandum, it is planned to conduct regular consultations between the parties, expand the exchange of information and experience, and organize joint projects and training programs. The document strengthens the institutional foundations of cooperation in the field of diaspora between the two countries and paves the way for the implementation of larger-scale initiatives in the future.
During the meeting, the approaches of both countries in the field of working with citizens living abroad were also discussed, and an exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest.
