After resolving the conflict with Iran, the US may “look at” Cuba.
“Elchi” reports that US President Donald Trump stated this while speaking to journalists in front of the White House.
“We will resolve this (Iran – ed.) and when we are done with that, we can look at Cuba,” he said.
According to Trump, Cuba has been in decline for many years due to poor governance.
The American leader has repeatedly claimed that after the suspension of oil supplies from Venezuela, the Cuban government and economy are on the verge of collapse. On February 27, Trump stated that the United States could “establish friendly control over Cuba.”
Later, Havana and Washington held talks to resolve bilateral disagreements. Cuba expressed its readiness to engage in dialogue based on equality and respect for the political systems and sovereignty of both states.
