The maximum speed limit on toll motorways has been approved at 130 km/h.
elchi reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an amendment to the Law “On Road Traffic” in this regard.
Thus, for passenger cars and trucks with a maximum permissible mass not exceeding 3.5 tons, the speed limit on toll motorways outside residential areas shall not exceed 130 kilometers per hour, while for other buses, passenger cars towing a trailer, and trucks with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 3.5 tons, the maximum speed on toll motorways shall not exceed 90 kilometers per hour.
