In the first quarter of this year, consumers in the retail trade network in Azerbaijan spent 955.4 million manats on gasoline and diesel fuel alone.

According to the information, the indicator recorded during the reporting period exceeded the figure for the corresponding period of 2025 by 5.7%.
It should be noted that oil in Azerbaijan is refined at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery, which was founded in 1953. The refinery fully meets the republic’s demand for petroleum products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization works are being carried out at the refinery.
