Events were held in Nakhchivan organized by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the State Service, a solemn farewell ceremony was first organized for conscripts from Nakhchivan city and Babek district for active military service.
It was noted that the farewell ceremony was attended by Ahmad Valiyev, First Deputy Head of the Nakhchivan City Executive Authority and acting head of the executive power, Colonel-Lieutenant Fuzuli Ismayilov, Head of the Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Vilayat Seyidov, Senior Assistant to the Nakhchivan Military Prosecutor and Justice Captain, as well as conscripts and their parents.
Afterward, an exemplary demonstration by military personnel of the Combined Arms Army was presented. After the official part concluded, the conscripts departing for military service promised to serve the Motherland with honor and were sent off to their military units.
Later, with the support of the Nakhchivan City Executive Authority, an event for youth was held on the theme “Patriotic Azerbaijani Youth – Healthy Youth, Healthy Future.” Gulkhanim Orucova, Deputy Head of the Nakhchivan City Executive Authority, who delivered the opening speech at the meeting, stated that such events have a positive impact on increasing the sense of patriotism among young people.
Colonel-Lieutenant Fuzuli Ismayilov, Head of the Pre-conscription Training Department of the State Service, Parviz Sadraddinov, Head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Department, and Colonel-Lieutenant Sultan Zamanov, Head of the Nakhchivan City Department, who spoke at the ceremony, provided detailed information to the youth about the sense of patriotism, the advantages of being a soldier of a victorious country, healthy living, educational deferment, legislation, digitalization, and other important issues.
Patriotic War participants and martyrs’ families attending the event also spoke and shared their impressions. After the official part, a concert program was held.
It should be noted that similar events have been organized in a number of the country’s districts and are planned to be continued in the coming months.
