NATO does not participate in an operation against Iran, but considers the weakening of its nuclear and ballistic potential to be justified.
“Elchi”‘s European bureau reports that NATO Secretary General Mark Rütte stated this at a press conference held in North Macedonia.
According to him, Iran is close to possessing nuclear potential and has ballistic missiles, which poses a threat not only to the Middle East region, including Israel, but also to Europe.
“This poses a great threat to us in Europe,” he emphasized.
According to Rütte, based on the results of numerous phone conversations with the leaders of European countries, he concluded that the allies welcome the weakening of Iran’s nuclear and missile potential.
