Azerbaijan Reduces Imports of Georgian Products

In January of this year, Azerbaijan imported 9.23 million US dollars worth of local products from Georgia.

This was reported in the report of the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

In annual comparison, Azerbaijan reduced the supply of products manufactured in the neighboring country by 8.3%.

Last month, Azerbaijan ranked X in the top ten local export partners of the country with a 3% share in the export of Georgian local products. The top three countries that imported the most Georgian products included China, Turkey and Russia.

In the reporting month, a total of 480.4 million US dollars worth of local products were exported from Georgia, which is 19% more than in the same period last year.

The top ten local products exported from the neighboring country included oil and petroleum oils, precious metal ores and concentrates, copper ores and concentrates, ferroalloys, walnuts, alcoholic beverages, gold, natural, unsweetened natural or artificial mineral and aerated waters, fresh grape wine, mineral and aerated waters with added sugar.
