FIFA President Gianni Infantino has emphasized the importance of lifting the ban against Russia.
Elchi.az reports that he touched upon this issue in an interview with SkyNews.
“I have always been against bans and sanctions. I don’t think they bring anything positive. On the contrary, they cause more hatred to spread,” Gianni Infantino emphasized.
He stated that the ban against Russia has not achieved anything, but only promotes hatred and anger.
It is worth reminding that FIFA imposed a ban against Russia due to the Russia-Ukraine war that began in 2022.
