A document on the purchase and sale agreement regarding the sale of a certain part of the non-controlling share of the Ministry of Economy in “Southern Gas Corridor” CJSC to XRG Company, the investment arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, was signed.
Elchi.az reports that the signing ceremony took place on February 2 in Abu Dhabi with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In addition, a letter of intent on defense cooperation agreement between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and the UAE was signed.
The heads of state expressed their belief that these documents will further promote the development of relations between the two countries
