Winter vacation will start in general education institutions on January 27.
The Preschool and General Education State Agency informed Elchi.az about this.
It was reported that, according to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the duration of the academic year in general education institutions”, the winter vacation for the 2025-2026 academic year in general education institutions will start on January 27. The vacation will cover January 27–31 and will last 5 days.
The decision also applies to school preparatory groups of general education institutions.
Note that the first school day after the vacation in general education institutions operating with a 5-day and 6-day work week is February 2, 2026.
