Last year, the Criminal Collegium of the Supreme Court overturned the decision in 5 percent of the cases considered

During the past year, 75.3 percent of the 3,556 cases in the proceedings of the Criminal Collegium were considered on their merits.

Elchi.az reports that this was announced at the meeting of the Plenum of the Supreme Court dedicated to the results of 2025.

It was reported that out of 2,677 cases considered, the decision on the case was upheld without changes in 82.3 percent, the decision on 5 percent of the cases was canceled, and the decision on 12.7% of the cases was changed.
