The expected weather conditions in the country on December 31 – January 2 have been announced.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula
On December 31, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, occasionally overcast, and mostly rainless. The southwest wind will blow, its speed will be 15-18 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 20-23 m/s. The air temperature will be 0-3°C at night and 7-10°C during the day.
On January 1, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, occasionally overcast, and mostly rainless. The northwest wind will blow, 15-18 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 20-23 m/s. The air temperature will be 0-3°C at night and 4-7°C during the day.
On January 2, the weather is expected to be occasionally rainy. The northwest wind will blow, 15-20 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 23-28 m/s. The air temperature will be 1-3°C at night and 3-5°C during the day.
Nakhchivan city, Julfa, Ordubad, Sadarak, Shahbuz and Sharur
On December 31, the weather is expected to be mostly rainless, but from the evening of the 31st to the morning of January 2, it will be occasionally rainy and snowy. There will be occasional fog. Moderate west wind will blow. The air temperature will be 6-11°C below zero at night and 0-5°C above zero during the day. There is a possibility of ice on some roads at night and in the morning.
Khankendi, Shusha, Khojaly, Khojavend, Fuzuli, Aghdam, as well as Dashkasan-Gadabay, Goygol
The weather is expected to be mostly rainless, but in some places from the evening of the 31st to the evening of January 2, it will be rainy and snowy. There will be occasional fog. The west wind will occasionally strengthen in some places. The air temperature will be 6-11°C below zero at night and 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero during the day. There is a possibility of ice on some roads at night and in the morning.
Eastern Zangezur: Jabrayil, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Lachin, Zangilan

There will be occasional fog. The west wind will occasionally strengthen in some places. The air temperature will be 2-7°C below zero at night, 10-13°C below zero in the mountainous areas, 0-5 degrees above zero during the day, and up to 3°C below zero in the mountainous areas.
Gazakh, Ganja, Samukh, Goranboy, Tartar, Shamkir, Tovuz, Naftalan
The weather is expected to be mostly rainless, but in some places from the evening of the 31st to the daytime of January 2, starting from the mountainous areas, it will be occasionally rainy and snowy. There will be occasional fog. The west wind will occasionally strengthen in some places. The air temperature will be 1-6°C below zero at night and 4-7°C above zero during the day.
Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Shaki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shamakhi, Siyazan, Shabran, Khizi, Guba, Khachmaz, Gusar
