In 2027, 281 million manats are allocated for the financing of benefits for temporary disability, pregnancy and childbirth, the birth of a child, care for children up to 3 years of age, as well as for funeral expenses, paid from compulsory state social insurance.
elchi reports that this was stated by the chairman of the committee, Musa Guliyev, during the discussion of the social budget envelope at the meeting of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy of the Milli Majlis held today.
The committee chairman stated that this is 38 percent or 77 million manats more than the approved forecast for the current year.
He noted that the projected increase of 77 million manats in this direction of the budget will allow for an increase in the amount of a number of social benefits next year: “Thus, the amount of the benefit for the birth of a child is projected to increase from 600 manats to 1500 manats, the benefit paid to insured persons for childcare up to 3 years of age from 700 manats to 936 manats, and the benefit for childcare up to 3 years of age from 37 manats to 100 manats.
25 million manats are allocated for expenses related to the implementation of sanatorium-resort treatment and rehabilitation measures for the insured, which will be financed through the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation.”
