On October 10, another person involved in the burning of cars in the Masazir settlement of Absheron district was detained.
According to information obtained by elchi, the individual who organized the burning of 4 cars in the Masazir settlement was detained by the State Security Service (SSS) while traveling by air from Georgia to Uzbekistan, brought to Azerbaijan, and arrested.
It should be noted that videos of the incident caused a wide resonance in the media. All participants in the crime were identified and apprehended through operational-search measures carried out by SSS operatives.
Charges have been brought against the accused individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and a pre-trial detention measure has been imposed by court order.
Currently, preliminary investigation actions are being carried out in the case.
The names of the detained individuals and the motive for the crime are not disclosed.
It should be noted that as a result of the intentional fire, “Mercedes”, “Lada”, “Hyundai”, and “Renault” passenger cars were burned.
