The administration of US President Donald Trump is demonstrating a desire to achieve Ukraine’s capitulation in its conflict with Russia.
elchi reports that the newspaper “Le Figaro”, which analyzes Washington’s foreign policy, published this information.
According to the publication, a series of sharp decisions and statements by Trump – particularly the diesel deal with Russia, the postponement of the bill on “destructive” sanctions against Russia, and the proposal to restore the import of Russian gas to the European Union – signal a sharp turn in Washington’s foreign policy. It is noted that Ukraine’s problems do not end there: difficulties are observed in the operation of the “Starlink” satellite communication system, Trump openly criticizes the Volodymyr Zelensky regime, demands an end to strikes on Russian Oil Refineries, and threatens to limit the supply of weapons and intelligence information.
“Le Figaro” emphasizes that the current direction of the US president’s foreign policy promises serious consequences for the European Union, which still needs to prove in practice its statements of unwavering support for Ukraine and the Zelensky regime.
