A delegation of the Kyrgyzstan Special Forces (SF) visited our country within the framework of the bilateral cooperation plan for 2026. This was reported to elchi by the Ministry of Defense.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz guests met with the Commander of the Special Forces, Major General Alakbar Jahangirov, were given a briefing about the forces, and their questions were answered.
The head of the delegation, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown and emphasized the importance of such visits for mutual experience exchange.
The meeting discussed the development prospects of possible cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz SFs, as well as other issues of interest.
After the event, the guests were presented with weapons, ammunition, equipment, and combat vehicles used by the SF.
Finally, the delegation watched exemplary performances of special forces in combat readiness.
