Several structural changes have been made in the Apparatus of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
elchi reports, citing qaynarinfo, that by the relevant order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, 7 departments in the Apparatus were transformed into divisions without changing their names, 2 departments were abolished, and 1 new department was created.
Namely, the department headed by Vusalə Ömərli was transformed into the Department of Early Warning of Emergencies, the department headed by Vidadi Məmmədov was transformed into the Department of Organization of Coordination with Regional Centers and Educational Issues, and the department headed by Elçin İbrahimov was transformed into the Department of Digital Development and Innovation.
In addition, the department headed by Səbuhi Ağayev became the Public Relations Department, the department headed by Vüsal Qaragözov became the Finance and Economics Department, the department headed by Qəşəm Məmmədov became the Control and Inspection Department, and the department headed by Rəşadət Cəbrayılov became the Legal Department.
After these changes, the aforementioned persons lost their status as department heads and were appointed to the positions of heads of the relevant divisions.
At the same time, the MES Commandant Service Organization and Technical Support Department, headed by Zahid Aşurov, was abolished.
It should be noted that a few days ago, we reported on the abolition of the MES Main Department for the Organization of Response to Emergency Situations. The Main Department for Organization and Coordination of Activities was created in place of the abolished structure.
