A delegation from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran has arrived in our country to participate in the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition “ADEX-2026” and the High-Level Observer Day of the joint military exercise “Unity Strength – 2026”.

Within the framework of meetings held at the international exhibition on September 30, the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, met with the Deputy Chief of Operations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran, Lieutenant-General Reza Sheykhhasani.
During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of cooperation in the military, military-technical, military education, and medical fields between our countries were discussed, and an in-depth exchange of views on issues of mutual interest was held.
