Due to repair works and changes to the traffic scheme on a number of streets in Baku, short-term restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be applied starting from 21:00 on September 29.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA).
According to the information, in the Binagadi district: traffic will be restricted due to repair works on the section of Shovkat Mammadova Street from its intersection with Chingiz Aitmatov Street to its intersection with Suleyman Sani Akhundov Street; and on the section of Zaur Nudiraliyev Street from its intersection with Ziya Bunyadov Avenue to its intersection with Ajami Nakhchivani Street.
It was stated that in the Narimanov district, a part of the dividing strip will be removed at the intersection of Koroglu Rahimov Street and Tabriz Street in order to change the traffic scheme. In this regard, partial restrictions on the movement of vehicles will be applied in the area.
“The restrictions will remain in effect until the work is completed. Drivers are requested to consider using alternative routes in advance in accordance with their direction of travel and to treat the ongoing work with understanding,” the statement noted.
