Starting from next season, the race distance in the Formula 1 World Championship will be shortened by 15 kilometers.
elchi reports that the press service of the International Automobile Federation has released information regarding this.
According to the new rules, drivers will cover a distance of 290 kilometers instead of the previous 305 kilometers. This change will result in the races being two to three laps shorter.
In addition, the three-hour limit applied to the total duration of the race will be abolished. However, the race will not be allowed to last more than two hours from the start.
