The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, has sent condolences to the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of six military personnel during a shootout with terrorists in the Hangu district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan.
I pray for the mercy of those who died as a result of the terrorist attack, share the grief of their loved ones, and express my deepest condolences to their families.
May God rest their souls,” the condolence message says.
