Provocation against Azerbaijan prevented in Poland

As a result of measures taken by diaspora representatives in Poland and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a provocation against Azerbaijan has been prevented.

“Elchi” reports that immediately after information was spread on the social networks of Azerbaijani diaspora representatives in the country regarding the presence of printed materials on a product manufactured in Poland featuring the image of the flag of the already defunct separatist regime, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Poland took measures to stop the production and withdraw these materials from sale.

Contact was established with Cezary Popiel, the director of the “Henry” company, which produces and sells the “product,” and the Republic of Azerbaijan’s strong protest regarding the matter was conveyed. The other party stated that they were aware of the issue through social networks, expressed their apologies for the mistake made, and emphasized that a decision had been made to stop the production and sale of the mentioned product.

Based on the Embassy’s proposal, Cezary Popiel informed the diplomatic mission in writing. In the letter, he stated that the use of the “image” in the printed materials was not intentional or deliberate, but occurred as a result of the “human factor” during the preparation stage of the print. The letter also stated that the sale of the printed product has been completely stopped, all copies in the warehouse and those returned by customers will be withdrawn from circulation and destroyed, and appropriate corrections have been made to prevent the use of that “image” in future printed materials.

In the letter sent to the Embassy, Cezary Popiel emphasized that he respects the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Poland expressed its gratitude to the Azerbaijani diaspora representatives who discovered the aforementioned provocation, drew the attention of the public of both countries to the issue on social networks, and made appeals to the relevant authorities.
